Yes. Her daughter, Mahina, who tends bar at Buzz's btw - fine MaiTais -, came over to Doug's on her bicycle, toting her Martin in one hand while steering with the other, & jammed with us. Of course, we played "Pua Mana" and "Baby Kalei". Mom was busy.

Just wanted to clarify that Aunty Irmgards daughter is Mihana Souza, who is a Na Hoku Award Winner and sings with the Group Puamana with sister Aima and Aunty Iwalani Kahalewai.

Aunty Irmgards GRAND-DAUGHTER is Mahina who jams with Doug....lol and works at Buzz's which I agree, has the best Mai Tai's.

Just saw that Mihana playʻs Thursday nights at Ducʻs Bistro in China town on Maunakea street. Nice restaurant for Vietnamese food. She might be playing jazz since that is her latest passion.
