Anybody know where I might be able to get music (chords) or lyrics for "Kahea O Keala". Written by Moon Kaukahi of the Makaha Sons in 1976 and on an out of print Makaha sons of Niihau album. I'm willing to pay if there is "official stuff". I'd ask Moon for it, but I don't think the guys publish their emails anymore. I love this tune (They performed it at Whittier College on Sat). This will be my second try to get this. I have a recorded version on a re-released Sons of Niihau, but there are no lyrics in the liner notes. I might be able to figure out the music, but a cord progessions chart would help. thanks

Turns out, Bill Benzel helped me decipher the music and I asked Reid and Sarah for their take on the lyrics, in the off chance that I never hear from Moon (I know the guys are really busy - I got through to them via Sharolene Oshiro)
