Remember me from Aloha Music Camp? Taylor's Mom? Anyway, we're carrying a line of flurocarbon strings called DaKine Line and are very happy with them. They have great tone and stay in tune what seems like forever. You can check them out on our website: www.kani-ka-pila.com The 'ukulele strings are actually Taylor's deal...we're still hoping to be able to afford to send him to college. wound strings, i go to the shop in l.a., great guys they help me with the setup and give me what i like, my martin i dont like to much tension on it, but like bright sound.
on my other ukes i use what ever and it seems fine
