Keola & Moanalani's performance in Portland, Oregon last night was outstanding! It was great to see them again! All you TaroPatchers in the Puget Sound area need to get your tickets for Friday night in Edmonds, WA! Aloha! Margaret & Tom |

I was hoping to get up to Lake Tahoe for Saturday's show, and to SKIII, but was called in to work for an emergency job. Wahhhh.
If anyone gets to the show, please give my aloha to Keoala and Moana. And if you are in that area, go to South Lake Tahoe to a fantastic little restaurant called Freshies, right on Lake Boulevard just south of the Stateline. These folks have the best food, and they are planning on opening a little restaurant in Makawao, Maui, soon.

Indeed! (Except for that dopey emcee...)
MANY chicken-skin moments, as well as a lot of natural humor. And they are so gracious and generous with their time and their arts. |

Let's just hope they were able to fix that nose flute before last night's performance at Tahoe.

My wife and I are planning on attending the April 21st performance at the Birchmere. I was wondering if there was a chance we would run into some other taropatchers there. Is anybody else going to that show? |

Hello Daryl and Susan,
I hit the wrong key and typed 21 instead of 20. Thanks for pointing that out though - it would be horrible to show up a day late. We live near Pittsburgh and will be travelling tomorrow to spend the weekend checking out Alexandria. We hope to see you at the show. I'll be the guy wearing a Hawaiian-print shirt.

Well, they're not TPers, but look for Haines & Janet Lockhart from AMC 2009. They're coming down from Rochester, NY. Jan and I were going to be there, but got called out of town. Have fun! |

Great show last night in New York City. Raiatea Helm was a superb opener and complimented Keola and Moana well in the second half. Charles Ka'upu was on the bill too. |
