PS: Ed no eat da Spam weenies. Ho, da salt put you in da kahdiack unit at da Kaiser.
But I shua would like musubi. Even da nori bad, gets salt natural like in dat nori.
I will eat one though when we go visit Duke & Jay and all dem guyz. And I goin eat noodle soup an fish cake. And kalua peeg. An mac nut encrusted mahimahi. An' pancakes at Sam Choy's an dat gahlick chicken Jay wen bring. But I have to don't eat locomoco, even doe it is ono. I tink I can eat all dat oddah stuff be equivalent of one locomoco.
And I think I shall have an umbrella drink. |

Braddah Al, you remembah what da brand name had ontop da package at Safeway? Da'ada day I wen go stop by one small Vietnamese grocery store oheya just fo make niele and my venetian blind makas popped open when I saw one package of what looked like four white bumbucha manapuas staring back at me chru da frozen food glass doors. Da package of four had da name Goldilocks ontop and da description said "Cha Shu Bao". Long story shawt, I just nuked two of dem buggahs for lunch and da buggahs was ONO. Was about $7 fo da package so about $1.75 each. Not too bad compared to da frozen one pound bags of poi which I also found out da store sells at $9.99 each! I going eat wallpepah paste before I going pay dat much for poi. Uwajimaya's in Beaverton currently sells poi for $4.99/lb. I tink da Vietnamese lady like me pay for her gas, wear and tear on her tires, and her mo'opuna's college education. |

Braddah Duke, no make sense yeah? Unless maybe Uwajimaya's buys and ships poi to their mainland stores from Taro Brand at a cheaper bulk rate, and maybe Times Liliha sells poi in da gourmet section. But now I no feel too bad about da price of da manapua. I tink I going hele back to dat Vietnamese store tomorrow and buy out watevah dey get left before dat wahine wises up and jacks da price up on dat too. |
