Aloha kakahiaka kakou! It is Mele Monday! I think you will find some real surprises on the list this week. Please leave some feedback on what you liked to see or anything that delighted you.

I mentioned this to you recently but it is relevant to this site and so I think it bears repeating.
I enjoy seeing our members play and not so much the others musicians. There is way more interest for me in watching the folks I have interaction with in this forum.
And, there are so many "others" in the playlist. It is hard to find posts from our TaroPatch community, or figure out if someone is or is not a member. I think it would be an improvement to identify our members. You do a lot of work here and I thank you for your efforts. Perhaps this would burdon you too much and I understand my suggestion will cause you more work.
If you no can do, no problem. Just a suggestion. |

It would be easy enough to do if I knew who the Taro Patch members are. Of course some I know like you, Jesse Tinsley, Duke, Al Tringali, Gary Medeiros, Patrick Landeza, etc. Some use "pseudonyms" and I have know idea whether the non-professionals are Taro Patch members or not. I can put notes on the descriptions on the playlist if I know it to be a Taro Patch member, if that would make it easier for you to watch what you like. As much as you like watching only Taro Patch members, others enjoy the professional musicians as well. This is a vast community and the tastes vary. I can make the playlist fit the wishes of the community if I get feedback about it. Frankly, Bob, you are one of the few people who ever provide feedback. The whole play list might not be of interest to the members, since no one says anything anymore. If that is the case, I can stop cluttering up this forum.
You guys tell me what you want. |

I meant to say that I am proud to do this list because I like to showcase my friends, showcase people who I don't even know and yes, showcase the professional musicians, because many of them are my friends. The musicians tell me they appreciate what I do to help publicize Hawaiian music. |

I like the general playlist. If there were some kind of highlight for taropatchers, sure I'd be interested. Of course, I am biased. |

Hello Wanda -
Love the playlist, but don't generally reply on the Patch. Please continue, by all means. |

Just one small footnote on my comment. I am not against posting profesional musicians at all. Many recording artists are members here too. |

Bob, why not start an alternate list of just TP members? Andy could set it up as a "sticky" topic asking members to post a message when they post music to YouTube, or to their own web pages. It would be readily visible for any one who wanted to see members videos. There is a section of the 'Patch for members to post music, but it seemed to be dormant the last few times I looked.
