Some time ago, I purchased a Cakewalk UM-2G USB midi interface from Fry's electronics. After I amassed enough dough to purchase Finale via Sweetwater, I tried to get the interface going. I found that the disk that came with the interface didn't include Windows 7. So, I got in touch with Roland on line, and, after 2 e-mails describing my plight (one to define what my problem was, and one to tell them that I had pitched the sales receipt), I got a call from a support guy who got me straightend out. The upshot is that a CD is in the mail, although he told me where to find the drivers on line. Everything was low key and informative, and the techies spoke English and were courteous. Rare, in this day and age. I recommend them highly. I've never had an inferior product from them.

Good to hear! So many times, the back end help and support is non-existant on products. Great to know you got some help when needed.
