Earlier this week, I was asked to play a song for hula dancer, Marina, to introduce honoree Daniel Dae Kim at the Pan Asian Repertory Theatre's 35th Anniversary Gala in New York. DDK and his family were there. It was an honor to be a part of the celebration and a very fun evening. The theater was the first of its kind for developing and showcasing Asian American Artists. Island transplant, Nāpua Davoy, was also honored.
