It all looks pretty portable but isn't the rock a little bulky to haul around?

When you're a superstar like Admin Andy, the road crew handles all the props. Ric

LOL.

Getting ready to bust out the Roland on June 3rd in Central Park. My back getting too old to haul around any rocks!

All set up for the Jonathan Tarr Foundation Scholarship Picnic last week. All battery powered sound system. Two Roland BA-330's, one Roland AC-33, one Roland Microcube Bass RX and three Roland Cube Street's. Four Senheizer E-838 microphones make for a superb setup for parks and beaches. Awaiting photos of others from the concert. Ono grindz, too. Ric

On Memorial Day, Motu Hawaii threw their annual Memorial Day luau at Cardiff State Beach, California. There is limited parking on the beach, so I carried my minimal setup and hiked a half mile from parking with all my gear in a recycleable shopping bag - L.R. Baggs Para Acoustic D.I., Vox Mini3 and an Emerson Headset microphone. This was all set up on a folding triangle camp stool and worked quite well for the venue. Kumu Babe Valero also plugged her phone (MP3 player) into it for some Tahitian and other hula dances. Frank (with the guitar) brought his only battery powered amp, a Carvin S400D. He was dropped off at the beach, for later pickup. He had it turned way down, as one has to be careful about noise levels of music at the beach.

Here's the breakdown:
