A musical friend just returned from a week in Honolulu.
From their upper floor balcony they could sample a "googlephonic" sample of songs and artists coming from every direction...a dozen performers or more at times, scattered, some in open bars, street locations, and here and there. My friends would take walks to find various players.
One man with uke, just sitting on a corner, or a piece of beach, was Troy Fernandez, romping on his uke and singing. Wished I coulda seen that. One of my wishes is to watch his picking hand in action....closeup!
so if you're there, stop, listen, talk and observe. Leave a tip. Troy was near the performance artist who is "the Golden Man"! but both those artists may vary where they plant themselves! Happy Wandering.
But the man with the gold is Troy.
Guess I better scout some of the ways and side streets of Waikiki!
