Shirley and I enjoyed an evening with George Kahumoku, Jr., at the Honoka'a People's Theater last night. George always makes me laugh, and as we watched David Barry's new documentary, "Seeds of Aloha", we not only laughed, but saw so many friends and musicians that have influenced our lives, including the late Bob Brozman. Thank you George, for a wonderful evening! I hope my friends in Kailua-Kona will get a chance to visit with you at the Aloha Theatre on May 24th.
By the way, did you know that George Kahumoku was instrumental in getting laws passed that allow public access to all beaches in Hawai'i? Now you do!

Aloha Bob:

I had no idea where that legislation came from but I sure appreciated the outcome during my three-year stay in the early 70's and now when we visit. Hats off to George!

Regards.
