It was a special day for me, too, and the music and food were the icing on the cake!

Thanks for the I.D.'s. Looks like you all had a blast. I've met Jesse at Pua's kanikalpila some time back. Looks like a nice sunny room to play in.
Nice to put faces to the names (handles).
Glad to know Jesse indentified himself as the one crouching, and not the little fur ball up front. ha ha (jus kidding Jess)

Aloha Rik,
It was a wonderful day for me to be around so many Hawaiian music lovers and make some good music. Nothing like that happens here in Idaho. I recorded some of the tunes we played and I will try to post a few just for fun.

I plan to be there too. That is if I don't have to fly off to anywhere between now and then.
I learned a couple new songs that I want to try out if its ok with you all, and the Doc and I are planning to get together early on Sat to play with the Hawaiian xmas songs he found, couple of really nice ones - not haole ones but real Hawaiian xmas songs. (The new songs I'm playing with are Hawaiian Cowboy, Ho'okipa Paka, Waiomina... and a couple others). I've been listening to my Ho'opi'i Brother's tape, can you tell .
