Just got home last night. We saw (& met with) Eddie Kamae, Mike Kaawa, Paul Kim, Ocean Kaowili & Analu Aina last Sunday - what a trip! Aloha Dalire showed up and danced, too - amazing (she was the first Miss Aloha Hula at Merrie Monarch, and her halau has taken the top prize there on several occasions.) Didn't catch Ray Sowders; he had a private gig the night we went to Waikiki.

Re: HRC - those of you around Seattle, remember to tune in to 91.3 FM; those of you outside the region can listen live online at http://kbcs.fm , from Noon-2 pm Pacific Time on Sat., Feb. 3.

I've been overtaken by events (the urgent need for housecleaning & the opera), so, unfortunately, I won't be there. See y'all next time!
