Aue---gotta cancel this Saturday's kani. I seem to have acquired a thriving virus colony, which I'm gonna greedily keep all to myself . See y'all on the 22nd.

Its still on gang, at my place at 3:30. I'll provide the chicken and rice and you bring what ever. Email me so I know how many are coming and if you need directions. Rich (Likeke)

Unrelated to the weekend jam...
We had such fun at Noeau's beautiful house on Bainbridge Island, here's just a short clip shot with my point-and-shoot camera.

That's Noeau playing "Living on a Easy."

Noeau - you all sound great! Jesse - thanks for posting the video. Bainbridge Island is a pretty place. I hope to get back there someday.

I have some great clips of our beloved Thumbstruck (one hell of a haole slack key picker), but I need to figure out how to split one very long clip into smaller ones. The clip (a quicktime .mov) is too long for iMovie and incompatible with Windows Moviemaker.

I would guess the main character in the video was Noeau.

Pretty nice tickling of those strings!

Mahalo Rich . . . wow, not only chicken and rice, but genuine plates and silverware and chairs at a dining table, too. You've definitely set a new standard.

Oh yes . . . and good music, too. Tonight with Kimo, Jay, Derek and you was great fun! Thanks again for hosting this session at your home.

Don/Cookie

PS: How you doing, Jean? Hope you're feeling better . . .

Dr. Cookie, sometimes you have to make do. At our Hale we don't have the luxury of Jean's place with a separate room for jammin. Mahalo to Lorraine, without her it would have been paper plates at best. Its always fun to have you guys over!

Aloha e Neej and friends... I mentioned this in another post, but this looks oft-visited as well...Are any of you Sea-Tac based slackers "doin' the Puyallup" this year? I will be up there for the middle weekend (Sept 14-15-16) drawing caricatures at my Dad's booth in the Arts & Crafts building. If you are at the Fair that weekend, please stop by and say aloha, and maybe even get one drawing at da special Taropatch discount...
Aloha nui,
T. Dan (from So-Cal)...
