Hi Jean,

I don't know what time you usually start or if it is one of those variables that noone knows ahead of time. I'm trying to figure out how we can do our Tacoma business, kani ka pila and arrange for our trip back all at the same time. I may have to find a hotel near the Seattle airport to make all this work. Any suggestions? (For hotels)

Aloha, Julie

Well, we usually start officially at 3pm (or whenever thereafter enough people show up). This time we may have a workshop with Kalae Miles first, starting 1:30 or 2 (he's gotta leave early). I don't know the hotels around the airport, but you might consider Hotel Neeej---not fancy, choice of inflatable single bed or king-size couch foldout, & all the cat-hair you want...but the price is right <EG>

And let this be a reminder for all the rest of you, too...last one till Dec 29 (unless, of course, one of those infamous emergency kanis becomes necessary)

Just a reminder . . . Kalae's workshop starts at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon (Saturday 12/8) . . . a bit earlier than we usually start. Kani follows as usual!

Mahalo Jean for hosting our Kani. It was like Christmas Day with the Kalae workshop, getting our Lei Mele shirts from Jeanne, and the Ukaroos you made! It was a pretty full day considering some of us started out jamming at the Kona Kitchen in the morning.

Thanks again, Neeej! Jack was bummed because he didn't get a shirt (yet). He kept muttering something about not being in the loop. The logo is great!

I think Jack was away when the orders were taken. Once the orders were made i think some of us forgot about it. I think I have one waiting for me. Just order one if one is wanted.
