Aloha Taropatchers,
Just for the record, I am going back into teaching slack key more “regularly” again. Most of the promotional activities (last CD release) I have been committed to recently are pau and I look forward to getting back to lessons, and learning. I feel what I do is more suited to beginners, being an “advanced beginner” myself. But, I really don’t like to get hung up in “what is beginner, intermediate, and advanced”. We all have so much to learn. So, more seasoned players may like to learn a few songs instead of technique. Whatever works. I know some of you are residents of Hawai’i, and some of you travel through the islands from time to time. Full time, and visitor haumana are both quite welcome. Please pass this along to anyone who may be interested. I live in Makakilo, O’ahu and teach primarily from my home, but may be open to other arrangements. A quick email or phone call can determine if I can provide any instruction you may find of value. I can tell you that I work primarily show-and-tell style, so folks who are more comfortable with tab may feel more suited to a different instructor. For more background, or information you can visit my website www.raysowders.com or just do a search on my name through internet search engines. Mahalo for checking out this entry!
