I just wanted to give the folks who are staying on Maui after Aloha Music Camp a heads-up that Keali'i's annual halau fundraiser concert is being held on February 11th (10th, too, but that's student concert night!!). I won't be able to make it , but thought it might be of interest. It would be logistically challenging but not impossible.
Sorry...according to the MACC website, all three performances (they added a Saturday matinee) are sold out.
Glad I bought my tickets last year!

The Kukahi was incredible. I attended with the other two Beanie Wahine (Winter campers will understand) and we had the lovely bonus of seeing Kevin Brown playing for his niece's halau in the show-before-the-show. That halau had wonderful keiki dancers and the music was, of course, exceptional. Then came the main show .. the maile lei of the dancers spread the scent through the theater, Halau Ke`alaokamaile. What a lovely evening.
