Ozzie is going to lead a workshop in Palo Alto, CA at Gryphon on Sat. Nov 16, from 2 - 4 PM. Cost is $30.00. Call 650 493 2131

Love to, but you know how hard it is to get him to come to the mainland? He comes VERY seldom and for only very short times. I guess that's one of the problems when you still got to keep you day job and value family time.

Yep, Ozzie has a real day job at a museum, and has to take "vacation time" to do his music. Thank goodness he enjoys it that much, to share it with the rest of us.

Unless he changed again, Ozzie is working for the State now. He's one of the guys who keeps track of Hawaiian antiquities and cutural objects -- catalogues them, keeps track of where they are loaned to, etc.

E kala mai, maybe I got it wrong -- what you describe sounds like what I recall him talking about, so it must have just "sounded" like museum work to me! *oops!*

Been away a few days. Ozzie's previous job was at the Bishop Museum. Makes it even easier to confuse the two.
