Aloha,
I did a silly thing... first, I bought a soprano ukulele at Island Legends - well, not so silly - it's to help the neighborhood keiki learn a bit... but then I went back to the store and bought a tenor lanikai w/ pickup... so now the pressure's on to learn about it - more than strumming. So I went to Herb and Daniel's Commedy Show - oops, I mean Ukulele Workshop. They did perform a couple songs from their newest album. They gave us a few pointers on how to hold the uke, how to pick, strum, finger, with they whys. And then we launched into one of the new songs on the album, Pineapple Mango, which Daniel wrote 20 yrs ago. It doesn't have words, but it begs for them... And they gave us TAB!! I forgot to ask if it's OK to share, but I will. So I had a fun afternoon and met more nice people!
By the way, they are hard at work writing an instruction book so we'll have to be looking for that in the "near" future.
Aloha all -
