I'm planning to go to the Aloha Festival (San Francisco's Presidio) this Sunday, August 5. Is anyone interested in an informal kanikapila, say around 9:30A before all the scheduled entertainment starts? Last year we had a pretty good core group, since several Taropatchers were also performing on the big stage later in the day. Looking at this year's schedule, I know there are a lot of Taropatchers performing on Sunday.

Let's plan on congregating at the workshop tents like we did last year. Bring your instruments, Mele Aloha book, music sheets to share, etc. All are welcome. Hope to see you on Sunday.

Make sure you guys get there earlier than last year. Saturday's turnout seemed as crowded as last year's Sunday turnout.
