Well, Peter, I did not kill any varmintz this weekend. I cleaned house and did lots of printing pictures and scrapbooking and card making. I made some good scrapbook pages of my hanai `ohana ovah dea O`ahu.. Made way nice page of Jay's wife and really cute of baby Cheyenne the new `ukulele player. Den Sunday, I made jambalaya for Paul for faddah's day. I asked if he wanted a barbecue or go to a restaurant or what, and he wanted my jambalaya mo bettah and I made butter mochi for dessert with mochiko flour I bought at Foodland on Kuhio in Waikiki. It came way mo bettah than last time. This flour was different than the other Ihad from the health food store. Must not have been the right stuff. This mochi had the chewy kine texture and is very good.
Then we went to Paul's ma's house and ate cheescake for fadders day which my sister-in-law made for the dads. And we showed off more pictures of Hawaii and some scrapbook pages of Hawaii and talked about Jay and Duke and Bla & Kathleen dem, and about how this was the best vacation we ever, ever, ever had. And we talked about what aloha really is. And we talked about Paul's gig on Friday night with the hula hui.
Oh, and I washed windows. |

I brought home eel sushi from the lady at the grocery one time, and Ms. Wanda wouldn't even try it, eventhough it was all cooked sushi. So I ate all of 'em. And they was good, too. But I'll eat nearly anything that don't escape first. 'Cept maybe bugs. Paul |

I goine try any kine- I no shame! Any kine- foah leg, two leg, no leg... Foah leg kine li' da iguana stay ono, an da crocodile tail (saltys from Australia) waz da bes I evah wen grine. Bu da rattlesnake almos as ono- no need legs...
Jus tink- Hawai'i guys like grine all kine funny stuff li da opihi an da wana, namako, pupu shell, puhi kea, limu- all kine! Oa wi da pilipino frens goine grine chicken gut, cockscomb, pig blood, oa da Hawaiian tradition, kalua dog. Da nipponese goine put rotten soy beans, wheat, and rice (miso and tamari) on everiting, an even Micky D's goine put mouldy cow lactations on da burgah- we call um cheese. So fo why stay shame fo try termite larva (creamy), deep fried locust (crunchy), or earthworms (jus li da hamburgah!)?
Me, I goine try any kine, an if I like um, I like um- ainokea if soun strange.

I tink for sausage lot of times, no use natural casings anymore. I know Paul bought some real casings though, when he wen make his venison sausage some time back. I think he made like a summer sausage outta the deer. Now, I think they just grind 'em us and do not put anything into casings, too much work I guess.
Remember the days when you had to peel da casing off da bologna and slice your own bologna. It came in one chunk. I was embarrassed to take sandwich to school for lunch cause they would see how thick my bologna sandwich and know we couldn't afford the presliced kine and would laugh at the hillbilly girl.
One trip to O`ahu, our tour guide told us about going spear fishing for lobstah allatime when he was young. He and some friends camped out da beach for a good while in da summah. Catch lobstah every day. Every day eat lobstah. Get tired of it. Take it to a little japanese grocery in Hale`iwa and trade lobstah for sliced bologna and wonder bread.
Me, I would eat lobstah every day! Not get tired of it, I don't think.
But I am with Braddah Ed when it comes to eating innards and offal. Not for me. No organ meats. I will never forget in "Dances with Wolves" when they gave him the warm, steaming tatanka liver to eat. Yuck! |

Braddah, you should know dass wrong awredeh fo try use one Pordagee reference book fo try prove your point. Adono and ainokea who dis Manuel person is, but for Menpachi Man to be called one babooze by one babooze is like braddah Javeiro calling you one Pordagee, which neutralizes da whole shebang. Anata no wakarimasu ka? Hah? Wakarimasen? Ho da warui desu ne! No make me hafto use da bakatare word on you.

If had covacharge, dis iz someting allota pepo would pay good money fo if dey could unnastand. Eh I no mo time fo diz I gotta go Queens fo won $2200 shot.
