Please join us this Sunday at beautiful Waimea Valley for Kanikapila Sunday! Kanikapila Sundays are Kama'aina and Military Appreciation days which means if you wish to tour the Valley, you may do so at a greatly reduced price if you have local or military identification. Kanikapila is FREE, no admission is necessary to attend or participate in the event. You may wish to purchase tickets for the special Luau Buffet which overlooks Kanikapila. Pre-sale tickets are strongly encouraged for the luau, please see attachment for details.

What is the Waimea Valley Kanikapila:

Kanikapila is a traditional Hawaiian music jam session. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate in the perpetuation of the mele (music), and the tradition which it was passed down from generation to generation. This FREE event runs from noon to 3 p.m. and is hosted by the Abrigo ‘Ohana. Treat yourself to family friendly afternoon of beautiful Hawaiian music!

Join us for the FINAL WAIMEA VALLEY KANIKAPILA this Sunday, August 18th, 2013 from noon to 3 p.m. As always, kanikapila is FREE and open to the public.

Kanikapila is a traditional Hawaiian music jam session. All ages and skill levels are invited and encouraged to participate. Please bring your instrument and cable to join in the fun!

Touring of Waimea Valley is through a separate entrance. Admission is required for this activity. Kanikapila Sundays are Kama'aina and Military Appreciation Days, discounted admission is available with valid ID.
