Here are some tunes from my set from the Eugene OR Uketober Festival a couple weeks ago. I'm playing my Po Mahina "Island Jazz" for "Morning Dew" and a Mya-Moe Resonator for the others.
Mahalos to Jack Aldritch (Slippry1) and Tim Miller for jumping in and making it so much fun.
Fantastic job! Very entertainiing. Mark & Jack - you guys can make anykine music. I especially enjoyed Sleepwalk. Oh, the steel sounded ever so swell. Mark, you are a fun entertainner! Don't forget, other than from your CDs, this is first time Paul and I get to see you "live". How fun and exciting!
Your "Morning Dew" took me way back to our first Hawai'i visit. The trio had set up out on the lawn towards the sea. Guitar player was very quiet on this number, mainly slide guitar and 'uke just after sunset. It was the first time I'd heard such lovely music. You created that moment all over again. There is something so pure about steel and 'ukulele together. Mahalo. I will be keeping an eye open for your Fresno tour!
