Oh my - this would be nirvana for me had I the kala to come to Kaua`i. Can you imagine the brains, the hearts and souls, the mana`o? Not to mention the passably lovely surroundings. And the price!!!! Holy mackanoli. If everyone of you guys local do not take advantage of this, I would just have to come over there and smack you on da head.

I have been struggling for several years to write a song. Here I would have some of the best instructors anywhere, including our own TP brain trust - Keola Donaghy and his pal Ken Makuakane. And you can listen to Puakea's voice, smooth as silk.

This came in a newsletter from Carole Yotsuda at GIAC.

Sign up right now you guys.

...and that "Keale, Kahu" is none other than Walter Keale. A group of talented folks, indeed!

For those not familiar with Koke`e, pack clothing appropriate for chilly nights and the possibility of rain (day or night). Expect wonderfully quiet evenings and mornings, as Koke`e tends to be a "daytripper" destination -- most visitors arrive about 9am and most visitors depart before sundown. When the daytrippers are gone, the park is truly magical. Take your camera, for sure.

Oh, and be prepared for all the chickens that live up there!
