There are no words that sooth this kind of pain or ease the feelings of emptyness. I hope that you find comfort in all of the thoughts and prayers being sent your way.

Dusty -
There isn't much I can say that I haven't already told you in person. You & Sheila are dear to me in so many ways. I'll play some dulcimer in her memory tonight.
Hang in there, buddy. You can feel how many people here love you.

...and I will play Kimo's Slack Key, for you and Annie, the way you taught me so many years ago in Dana Point.

Dusty, human language fails at times like this, but know that our hearts hurt with you. God knows our sorrows and our joys. |

You already have, Dusty. You cannot heal if you bottle up your sorrow. We are honored that you value us enough to reach out. |

Dear Dusty,
I am very, very sorry to hear about Sheila's passing. We will miss her warm smile, her kindness, and her aloha. You and Sheila were two of the mainstays at Uncle George's Maui workshop, and over the years we have all become one big 'ohana. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Much Aloha, Doug |

Words fail. I will wear one of Uncle George's Camp shirts in her honor at the KHCC Kankapila this Friday. |

Dusty, Profound condolences my friend.
When I play the notes this evening, I will direct them towards you and Sheila.
They will be beautiful notes.

Dusty, Diana and I just returned from George's camp last night and I would like you to know that Yours and Shelia's names were mentioned every day and at each night's kanikapila. You were there,my friend, on everyone's mind and in all of our prayers. I think everyone of us played "E Ku'u Morning Dew" and thought of Shelia. Jerry and Diana |

Dear Dusty, I'm am happy that you have been able to be back in touch with taropatch, and that you were in Kaui and in touch with Paul. As Jerry said, you and Sheila were very much in everyone's thoughts at camp. The day before yesterday we sent leis out to sea from Napili Point and sang and played Ku'u Morning Dew. I remember best overhearing you play Nanea Kou Maka I Ka Le'ale'a overhead of our little hale in 2006 or so, so I have been playing that also to send mana to you and Shiela. Connie sends her many hugs. Jim Garson |
