I'm sorry to say that I didn't catch many of the performances at the SF Aloha Festival, but as I was leaving Sunday I heard a voice that only belong to Faith Ako - she was doing an arresting arrangement of "Hi`ilawe" and I was frozen in my tracks.
Patcher Jim Cramer (JimC) was on slack key guitar, I missed the bass player's name, but what a performance!

Hi Faith,
I'm a slack key friend of Jim's and we met briefly after Patrick's Christmas concert in San Leandro. Just wanted to say that your and Kumu Shawna's performances were "must see" acts for me. You guys always put on a great show. Your arrangement of "Palehua" was chicken skin and Bruddah Jim had some sweet ki'hoalu licks in there. Glad to see you on Taropatch.
