Aloha everyone,
I just wanted to announce that we are working on finalizing the details for Keoki's 4th annual Kahumoku Ohana Hawaiian Music and Lifestyle Workshop on the big island.
Keoki is excited to see everyone! He told me that it was all of your good thoughts, prayers and letters of Aloha that helped him get through some recent hardships, and through it all, he knows now that his purpose in this lifetime is to share what ever he can to perpetuate the culture and share as much as he can with us all.
We will open the camp with the welcome dinner on Nov. 27th, the day after thanksgiving. Like last year, we hope to spend half the time at the Pahala Plantataion Cottages and the last few days, have classes and all gatherings right on the black sand of Punalu'u beach.
Flights are very reasonable from the west coast right now and Online-Registration with the help of Kona Bob should be available in the next 2 weeks.
Joining us will be Uncle Dennis Kamakahi, Uncle George Kahumoku Jr., Herb Ohta, Jr., Sonny Lim, Kona Bob, Brittni Paiva, and a few others.
So, save the date and please consider coming out to share in this wonderful experience. Remember, proceeds from your participation go to helping the children of the district of Ka'u and donations to Keoki's non-profit are always welcome.
I will post updates on instructors, registration, and lodging options in the weeks to come.

p.s. If you can't make it out to Pahala, consider meeting us in Washington D.C for the mini version! It will include teaching by Keoki, Herb, Darci Baker and Walt Keale. Cost includes 3 days of intensive instruction, kanikapila, all meals, a front row seat at the gala concert event, and some wonderful door prizes including a KoAloha ukulele! Not bad for $425! Check it out! Craig and I will be there too, so we'd love to see you there!
