I posted this last week, but ainokea. It is so beautiful, it deserves the widest possible audienceI just shake my head in amazement everytime I hear Zack play, but I truly believe this is the best of anything he has ever played. Keep in mind that Zack is only one year out of high school already. Doesn’t it touch at your heart. And yeah, the kaona, whoo-ee. Alohikea was a master of that, and a womanizer, to boot.

This is the George Kuo talk-story about Pua Lilia and a bit about the kaona. And best of all, sweet Martin Pahinui sings this so magnificently.

Some swell `ukulele playing by any standard, moreover for ones so young. It surely speaks well of their kumu., Terry Brown.

Here is my `ukulele kumu Timi Abrigo’s sixth weekly `ukulele lesson. This week the song is “I Ali`i no `Oe”. This one I will be able to learn to play, but, I’ll never be able to sing like Emily!!! But Timi – Aunty is getting better on `Opae E.

The Abrigo `Ohana playing with Uncle Ron Kanahele at the Friday night show of the Ko`olau Serenaders at Honey’s, a fine establishment at the Ko`olau Golf Course. One of Uncle Ron’s finest renditions of “Moana Chimes”.
If you are on O`ahu on Sunday, Nov. 15, go to Waimea Valley on the North Shore for the Waimea Valley Kanikapila. You’ll be able to hear and listen to Uncle Ron, the Abrigo `Ohana, and all our other friends and `ohana making sweet Hawaiian music.

The Ko`olau Serenaders with a lovely rendition of “On a Little Street in Singapore”. Any of you ladies my age remember Shalimar perfume? The group consists of : Derrick Mau (Hawaiian steel guitar), Albert Kaaihea (slack key), Eddie Akana (ukulele), Leo Collins (bass).

This is a kanikapila so many beloved Hawaiian musicians in one place on stage together. I gotta chuckle at that kolohe Bobby Ingano, making the steel give wolf whistle when Sonny Lim is playing bass. Jake Shimabukuro, Chino Montero, Dennis and David Kamakahi, the Ho'opi'is, Sonny Lim, Jeff Peterson, Bobby Ingano, and friends.

Here is a clip about an invasive species fish, ta`ape, which was introduced to the islands from French Polynesia. In this video, Aaron Mahi shows you how to cook it, even though it is not considered a very tasty fish. Later in the film, there is a bit on invasive species of limu and motivating children to learn about the dangers to the near shore ecology

Ka Eha - . This performance highlights 3 songs from their benefit performance entertaining over 150 coworkers at a National Make A Difference Day event sponsored by Queen's Health System, the parent corporation of Queen's Medical Center. I couldn’t cath all their names, but wow, are they good.
Jesse Gamiao, Alex Noesca, Boyd Hurley, Jerry Lee. I do not know them, so I hope I spelled their names correctly. If anyone knows them, please correct my spelling of their names if need be.
