This is a “news for tourists” blurb. I put this up because toward the end, there is a bit about Cecilio & Kapono playing at the Royal Hawaiian. The guy doing the talking says they play “acckyustic rock” at 5:49. Didn’t anything sound “acckyustic” to me.

Hawaiians Unlimited – “Home in the Islands” - Lena Naipo, Duke Tatom, Pat Eskildsen, Tim Taylor. Check out their channel at HawUnLtd. I’ve got some Lena Naipo music on the CD (one of my FAVORITES) – Hula Big Island Style. Listen to the samples on Mele.com, because I have NEVER heard anyone sing “Pauoa Liko Ka Lehua” like him, and I also love his version of “Papalina Lahilahi”. What a voice. Smooth .http://www.mele.com/music/artist/keoki+kahumoku/hula+big+island+style/

They are some mighty important lessons for us to learn. I urge you to take your time and listen to these lessons. There are so many things to learn from these videos – not merely facts, but ways to live.

Here are two more you may enjoy -- coming from the JesseTinsley Channel on You Tube - presenting Colby Tinsley, age 11.

Here is Jesse Tinsley’s 11 year old son, Colby, making nice Christmas music on the fiddle. Listen to Away in a Manger and Here Comes Santa Claus. I sure love the western swing. And Jesse on the guitar keeps up nicely with him. Leave a comment and tell Colby how you thought he did. Give some encouragement because nomo fret s on a fiddle. Az y hahd. I got kicked out of violin lessons in the 4th grade.

And here Colby and dad are playing “Texas Crapshooter”. What do they call that fancy fiddlin’? Double stops? Whatever it is called, I think he has plenty talent, moreover for only 11 years old.
