Aloha TP-ers,
The Taro Patch is alive with passionate people. So much so that sometimes passions collide.
Aunty Wanda used to post weekly digests of YouTube videos. She did that out of genuine love for the music and the musicians. All she was doing was reporting to all of us over here what she had found on the internet. And because of her incredible work, we could all enjoy it too.
A couple of weeks ago, Bill posted a passionate plea to consider that unauthorized posts sometimes have unfortunate impact on the artists. He did that out of genuine love for the music and the musicians.
Billʻs post raises an important issue, because the livelihood of beloved musicians we all know and love are at stake.
However, those issues are not going to be addressed by Aunty Wanda stopping her posting. If anything, her posts were a valuable service not only to us, but also to the musicians to whom her posts brought attention.
IF WE WANT AUNTY WANDA TO RESUME POSTING HER DIGESTS OF YOUTUBE LINKS--please take a moment to tell her below how much you appreciate it, how much you think it means to musicians to have such attention, and how much WE ALL APPRECIATE HER!!

Watching your YouTube posts has become a regular part of my life. Not only is it enjoyable, it has been an inspiration for learning new songs. Thanks so much for sharing, and keep it up if it is not too much trouble. |

| i wondered why aunty's digests of hawaiian music videos had stopped. i totally miss and appreciate her heartfelt work at doing this for us all. please resume the posts aunty. taropatchers miss you lots. |

Ah, gee guys. Auntie neva like sound like one bulaia. If I say pau, I mean stay pau. Then an honored kumu wen teach me liddo bit more about pono, and especially ho`oponopono. As old as I am, can still learn someting, yeah.

Bottom line is I do love the music so very much because it brings me such joy. I love to share that joy and aloha with other people who appreciate the music as much as I do. Moreover, if I can bring that music or share that music in any way with someone who does not know about it or where to buy it or even who is available to listen to, then by not sharing, I believe I am doing a disservice to the music I so much care about. I will continue to seek the permission of the person who posted, I will post links to videos that the artists send me and bring to my personal attention, and then some, videos, I probably won't seek permission because it seems as though that permission in implied just by putting it on You Tube (like Jesse, for instance or others of the TP `ohana).
And Bill, if I ever find more of your videos on there (remember when you played with Aunty Genoa guys?), then I shan't post links without getting your permission.
But please - no more discussion about it, because, believe it or not, I have a heart and it can get hurt as easily as anyone else.
