Our dear braddah, Jonathan Castillo – “Home” and “Maile Swing . Don’t you get chicken skin, and get a bit of glimpse of George Helm? Duke is the videographer. OK now you hear Jonathan, and already you have seen Duke and Jay playing together, along with Terry, and Derek and Shawn. Can you even IMAGINE how good the music is when they are all together? I’m telling you it is a magical thing – a sight to behold (and to hear).

Thanks to World Class Productions for letting me know about this film. It is too long for You Tube, so az y the oddah web site.

A Lithuanian song played slack key style. Interesting. Some things transcend cultures and borders. I do not know what instrument he is using. It sounds pretty, ah, uh, well, dull, I guess. This could sound pretty spectacular with a good instrument.

That's a Martin Backpacker on the Lithuanian tune. I'll have to ask my wife about the singing.

Wow, Russell. Good thing I never bought Paul a Martin Backpacker. I think it sounds less than stellar. But then again, maybe I would not have been el-kabonged at the Honolulu airport.

There are a couple more great videos that Duke, Ho`okani and s.m.80808 have posted. These guys play together allatime, get good fun together. All met through TaroPatch. Matter of fact, when you consider the growing kanikapila action in O`ahu, all because of You Tube and Taro Patch and Duke and Lanet. It is staggering the lives and hearts that have been touched. Folks are branching out into playing at nursing homes, hospice, etc. It is phenomenal, and the aloha shared grows exponentially.. Thank you my braddahs for spreading the aloha.
