Lihau Hannahs and Kellen Paik from Kupaoa made their first visit to Santa Cruz back in October of 09. They allowed me to film a concert that they did and also allowed me to post these video clips on youtube. It's so nice to see a young generation of Hawaiian Musicians writing and performing such beautiful new music. They are working on a new CD. Two of the songs that you will see in these videos, "E Ku'u Sweet 'Apapane" and "'O 'Oe No", will be on that CD. The other song "Koamalu" can be found on their first CD "Pili O Ke Ao". All the music and lyrics for all three songs written by Kellin and Lihau.
