the so-called "Northwest hawaiian times" wrote this article found here:
http://www.northwesthawaiitimes.com/HCBand.htm
it reads: "The band was known as the Hilo Band during the Hawaiian Monarchy and the Republic of Hawai`i. After annexation and the formation of local counties, the band officially became the Hawai`i County Band in 1900."
after annexation from what? itself? annexed it from its own people?
annexed from its rulers and culture, and deity?
how can you annex something that is only entirely apart of itself?
are they saying that hawai'i was "annexed" from hawaiians, not stolen from them?
and what is their end to this view? is it to ain belonging, power, footing? to subjegate Hawaii to their whims, to gain legitimacy?
what haole enemies of Hawaii could make their own newspaper about Hawaii and hold these kinds of destructive views about Hawaii?
