Don & Cynthia Hull, our pals from NoVa (or "Not Going," for you fans of the Spanish language and General Motors history...) are looking for a ride share next week.

They inadvertently posted the note to the wrong thread:

quote:
Hi Fellow Campers,
We are coming into Kona Saturday the 5th on United #55 arriving around 8:30PM. Is there anyone else coming in on that flight or around the same time that would like to share a cab to Keauhou? Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I'm travelling later tonight - about three in the morning we start off. Even though it's going to take, I dunno, over 30 hours or something, through the magic of time zones, we should arrive in Kona at 9:15 Saturday night.

I'm looking forward to this week soooo much.

Aloha All -

Looking forward to seeing friends old and new at camp in just a couple days. Annie and I are off well before dawn on Saturday...

Remember, we'll have a registration table set up in the lobby on Sunday afternoon. Stop by to pick up your camp packet, class schedule, etc.

Yes, it is Super Bowl Sunday. If you can't tear yourself away from the game, look for Annie or me at dinner. We're the ones with no tans and wrinkled aloha shirts...

Don't miss the Opening Ceremony at 8:00 PM in the Big Tent (hereafter referred to as "the Hula Tent.)

Like Auntie Nona always said: "Get plenty of rest, dears. It is going to be a big day tomorrow!"

Happy and safe travels!

If I couldn't tear myself away from yet another football game to visit with friends at a music camp, I'd go jump off a bridge.

Thanks very much for sharing your pictures. You captured several good musical action shots. Must have been a great time!

There are still a few Campers here on the island. Last night we had our kanikapila, and I asked Kate to come up and sing her Ukulele Yodeling Song. She did a great job, much to the joy of the crowd. We all agreed that this Camp had a very special feeling of aloha. We were not able to pinpoint where that came from, but it was a wonderful camp indeed.
Aloha,

I've posted some photos on my Facebook page (Cynthia Hull). These are just from Keola's birthday cake and the last day of camp. I was too busy taking classes, practicing and, of course, eating the rest of the time.

Aloha, Cynthia

Aloha all -

I have posted some pix from the recent February Aloha Camp on the AMC website. Given that a picture is worth 1000 words, that is all I will say on the subject.
