And I woke up today, sipping my cuppa tea while Paul is still asleep (its not 10:00 yet) and what did I see? An amazing sight -- three pairs of cardinals outside on the lawn flitting around each other getting twitterpated.
We don't have cardinals out here, but we DO have cedar waxwings, beautiful crested birds that fly from tree with fermenting berrys to tree. They often get twitterpated -the drunkards of the bird world. Once in Oregon, I came out of the house to see about 30 of them in my holly tree, scarfing berries - it was like a living Xmas tree! |
