Just got the CD from Keola last night. Ono stuff. I reccomend it veddy much.

E necks time i see u you going get one kabonk. Carlos Nakai, Keola and Moana Beamer live in one native long house wea get so much cedar your guitar get nervous is choice brah. Only 10 feet away from da eye level stage li'dat. Plus all da grinz in da green room.

Ei nei! Afta afta I wen go the hotel (I had stuff fo drop off) and I wen go ask Nakai if they wen practise befo go on stage. He tell me no. Because they play so much together, they know by the lead chord what song goin be. Den, they "just push" like backyard style. They kinda 'psych' the crowd, the venue, and the theme/occasion of the gig. They play the measures eeda together or solo. Also, they get their repretoire from "Native Voices". Now, that's really Jammin.

Donley Smith, their road manager, play one mean, mean slack key in G and C (on the Po Mahina parlor 6 string; you kno da won I talkin bout).
