"Destiny is something we've invented because we can't stand the fact that everything that happens is accidental."

To my surprise, this photo was emailed to me recently. I had to chuckle. I knew that I had a gig at the college but didn't realize that I was headlining at their performing arts center. Now I know!

Sussex County Community College, here I come. I will be joined by the beautiful dancers of Polynesian Dance Productions and multi-talented, taropatch member Bill Wynne. It'll be fun.

Andy, I am impressed. Go get 'em dude!!!

(p.s. They left out the word "Master" following "Hawaiian Music", but we'll give the benefit of the doubt--it probably wouldn't fit on the marquee.)

You need some sunglasses, 1...because you are now a famous celebrity and 2......because your lights are so bright!!

Andy - Best wishes for a fantastic performance. I think it was Uncle Dennis who said that his teacher said: "Make your guitar cry so your listeners will cry." Here's hoping you make 'em cry.

Yes - the future's so bright you gotta wear shades...

I remember you when you were on the big screen TV with NYC across the river in the background. Come to think of it, Darin was there too.

Really now Andy. You MUST get some better TOGS than the New York Outfit you had on in Fallbrook.

Andy, my brother, now that I realize that everyone was coming to see you in the first place, I can stay home.

Break a leg!

I want a t-shirt. "I played here and all I got was this t-shirt."

Thanks for the well wishes. I find the lights very funny. I'm looking forward to sharing some music, fun and hula with a "new" audience.

Mika'ele - I have an aloha shirt for tonight, and a back up aloha shirt, just in case. I want to know what Bill Wynne has in store. It's all a mystery until tonight.

Let us know how the gig went. Clean shirts make a good impression, but they can be hidden by a guitar.
