Thanks Mark for the compliment. When I met with Alan for my first lesson this time, he said "You're a good journeyman steel player, and now you must become as master.", and proceeded to run me through the ringer. On my first slant running the scale in G, he said "No! You're doing it all wrong!" "Gaaaaaaaaahhhh!", I thought. Every time I got back to my room and set up the steel, I looked at it and wondered if I ever could even play again, but I soldiered on. As for what I play with you,Mark, it's your wonderfully introspective slack key that I can feed off of and support. It is always such a great pleasure to play along with you (and hang out, and share a bottle of Scotch, etc)! He's a good one, folks! Once again, y'all, Ho'olohe fo' bot'us is the reason it works so well.

Mahalos to Kermit for posting those vids so now everyone can enjoy his beautiful musi and the wonderful hula dancers.

Ja, I think Kory's pretty great, too.

What a treat to relive a little bit of that show!

Ed is right again. As the world moves towards English, we can push it further to Pidgin.
