Paul tried to pound poi yesterday. No can. Hauled out the big Kitchen Aid mixer. Well, it sorta worked...still lumpy poi, little tiny lumps, so he mashed it through a mesh strainer. I think we might have a decent resemblance now.
I think I will have him try poi and papaya together. He was going to try dried tako with poi.
K-den, I gotta go make the haupia. (For the others, not me - coconut has too much potassium, too).
But woo-hoo, today is the day of our `ukulele workshop and kanikapila. |
