That's the McSpadden solid walnut dulcimer I won at Winfield back in '79. Sweet little instrument. No pickup, just a microphone & a real good soundman.

Eh, Wanda! You know dat's me, da slipry1, on steel, and Mark from TP on Dulcimer. We had one of the best sound men ever on that stage at Folklife. I'm plugged directly into the board, and Mark has a pickup embedded in his dulcimer, I believe. At a big festival like Folklife, the quality of a performance is tied to how good the sound person is. Glad you liked it. |
