Kumu Hula Mark Keali`i Ho`omalu is presenting Ka Hula Hou, a new, thrilling form of Hawaiian entertainment: a battle-style competitive hula challenge, where the audience serves as the judge and chooses their favorite team as the champion.
Ka Hula Hou was created as an alternative to highly standardized hula competitions. In the Ka Hula Hou arena, kumu hula and choreographers have a chance to hone their skills, presenting original and exciting performances that are not restricted to any one format.
The only rules of engagement are: "Keep it Hawaiian" and "Keep it Entertaining." It's an event you won't want to miss!!
