Hampton Hotels has a Save A Landmark Program whereby they donate money and volunteer hours towards helping restore various landmarks nationwide. Up for voting until November 30 are three Hawaiian landmarks. The one with the highest number of votes gets funded. Perhaps you would like to help one of the Hawaiian landmarks obtain some valuable resources by voting for one of them.
Here is a bit about the program from their web site: The program has provided thousands of hours and more than $2 million dollars toward the research and preservation of roadside landmarks for future generations. And in 2006, the Save-A-Landmark program was honored with the 2006 Preserve America Presidential Award—the first hotel chain ever recognized by the U.S. president for its preservation efforts.
