Congrats on finishing the project!! Yup, definitely a process but the result at the end when you open up that first sleeve and hold the finished product in your hands makes it all worth it! Malama pono!

I just heard a copy. I was at the pre "CD-release-concert" party at Papa Kila's in Everett. TOO GOOD!

Eh, Wanda - make sure you get a copy of Anutie Manu's hula instruction book. It covers most of the songs on the CD. I think you can get it thru Gary. AND - yours truly on steel on the CD.

Amen, braddah! The band was very good - you, me Auntie Manu, Gary and Peter Tabali, with pat Brogham, Papa Kila and Uncle Bernie Simeona sitting in. Roddy, of course, is on Oahu now. Maybe he'll be here next week for the OFFICIAL release concert. I got 6 CD's, one for each of my kids, one for me, and one for my sister-in-law. I'll miss it since I'll be at Aloha Camp (poor me!!)

I am so proud of myself for being able to download Gary's music from iTunes! Wow, is this music ever good! What a voice! It all sounds so good, but my favorite is "He Punahele No `Oe". Spectacular!

Now the rest of you guys, go get this music! It is really fine.

Do you know, Auntie, that it's me playing steel and thumbs playing slack key, along with Roddy Lopez on rhythm guitar and bass?

Yep, I know that, Jack. All you guys sounded way good. I worked out on my hula basics today to that music. And then I cleaned house to the music. Gets the blood moving. You know you are good when I mop to your music!
