OK, just so Pauline doesn't have to hold her breath too long, here is the tab and MIDI file for Patrick Landeza's "Pilipuka" (uploaded with Patrick's permission):
Adobe Acrobat file (PDF)
MIDI file
This is a very pretty song, almost like a lullaby, and is easy to learn and play. I would strongly encourage you to either buy a copy of Patrick's "Pu`unaue" CD or a copy of his DVD, both of which have performance versions of "Pilipuka" on them. I say this for three reasons. First of all, while the MIDI file is actually a pretty good representation of the song it's not perfect, especially on the ending. Second, since Patrick is kind enough to share this tab with everyone, it doesn't hurt to return the favor. (Incidentally, "pu`unaue" means "to share".)
My apologies (and Patrick's), but at the request of Patrick's DVD publisher these files are no longer available.

Sorry about that Pauline...had an uppercase "P" instead of lowercase. Computers...aargh! Try now. |

One quick playing tip...on the first two measures barre the first and second strings with your first finger and then add your second or third finger on the first string where needed. Also, feel free to slide from the third and fourth frets to the eighth and ninth frets when repeating the measures. |

Yes! It works now! The midi is pretty, the one-page score looks doable, thank you, thank you. Thank you Patrick.

Wow! That's really nicely done. Is that from a special computer program you have to write out the tabs? |

At the request of the publisher of Patrick's DVD I have removed the tab and MIDI files for Pilipuka. Sorry. |
