Ledward Kaapana is doing a brief mainland tour before heading to LA for the Grammies. He's starting at the Triple Door in Seattle with Dennis Kamakahi and Nathan Aweau, then going on to the Thunder Valley Casino and Yoshi's Oakland with them as well.
After those gigs he'll be doing a few more solo shows here in the San Francisco Bay Area and I'll be the opening act.
Feb. 1 - Don Quixote's in Felton. Feb. 2 - Live at the Cue in Concord. Feb. 3 - Club Fox in Redwood City.
Don Quixote's is always big fun, thanks to the warm and welcoming crowd there. Live at the Cue is a new venture in a new venue, one that is becoming a hub for Hawaiian music in our corner of the Bay Area. And Club Fox is the rebirth of the Little Fox, the beautiful performance space adjacent to the Fox Theater in Redwood City.
I'm looking forward to my next dose of Ledward fun, I hope you'll be able to join us.
