Its Mele Monday! Time to celebrate on this holiday by listening to some great Hawaiian music videos. Remember, with this play list, you can select "play all" and it will play one video after another -- so easy on you!!! Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!

Steven - it was lovely! I am on a kick lately of mele by Na Lani `Eha. I just got the CD entitled "A Tribute to Na Lani Eha" with Kawaikapuokalani Hewett, Cyril Pahinui, Del Beazley, Teresa Bright, Manu Boyd and Moon Kauakahi. Can you imagine the chicken skin I felt last August when Amy Stillman let us tag along with her to the State Archives and I saw "Aloha `Oe" written in pencil in the Queen's handwriting? And then I saw her guitar at the Bishop Museum. The mele written by Na Lani `Eha are some of the most poetic and melodic songs I can think of, and they are a living history book, still telling us the stories they wanted us to hear.

Mahalo to you, Steven, for making the music, sharing it with us and keeping it alive.

Me ke aloha
Malama pono,
Wanda

Awesome! Indeed, we as Hawaiian artists are forever indebted to "The Royal Four"!!
