Na Palapalai - Ipo Hula from the Nanea CD. They do my favorite version ever! Sunday Manoa - Kawika. Classic, and everyone loves it, including me! |

Hey `Alika - long time no see!
I thought of Kawika by Sunday Manoa, but then I thought that it would be disrespectful to take a mele inoa and use it for working out to instead of using it for the purpose to which it was intented - to celebrate Kalakaua. |

Yeah, I understand that, but I don't think anybody else will know what those words mean. This is only my thought, but I think they'll just be looking for good, upbeat music. |

Moe Keale: Mapuna ka hala o'Kailua "Aloha Is A Part Of Me, A Part Of You" We've been looking for this album, but mele.com lists it as no longer available. to be out of print. I plan to check with Na Mea Hawai`i and other locations while we're there. Unko Paul

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oooh, yeah - and Malihini -- the Iz doing Margarita, that is a good one!!!! But definitely not traditional style Hawaiian, but I love it anyhow, especially the part about "we go in the dark and we don't need a spear".
Not traditional for sure, but I thought we might make an exception for Iz! It sure makes me get up and dance in my living room AND put's a smile on my face!
By the way.. Hi everyone! I'm Sussi, I live in San Diego and am fortunate to go to Oahu a few times a year. Sure wish I could be there for Gabby's Waimanalo Music Festival. Anybody know of something happening in October on Oahu? Music wise , that is. Aloha to all. |

Blue Hawaiian Moonlight (especially the Gabby band) Kaula 'Ili (by Sonny, especially) 'Ullili E Song of Old Hawaii
There are others, but not now - too relaxed!
