I feel I know some of you from your numerous postings to this forum, however, I am always curious to see what real slack key players look like. If my homely mug shot hasen't destroyed any cyber links I am sure that yours won't either. come on, don't be so bashful.

For the record, I have not yet met Sulle nor did I pay him to post!
In fact, Sulle gets credit for being the first to post his pic which even inspired me to do the same. Since I couldn't find a good pic playing guitar, you see me with Chef Masaharu Morimoto from the TV show Iron Chef. Anyone watch Food TV? I felt it was telling enough. I love food, and I love gung fu movies. A show featuring cooking battles (competitions) in "Kitchen Stadium," and I'm in heaven.
To post your pic, you'll need someplace on the Internet to store your graphic file. Then enter the url in your profile. Or you can email your photo to me, and I'll set it up for you.

Hi gang, Just thought I’d introduce myself, I see a few familiar names here. I’m Chuck and it’s good to be here. I use to play a little slack key, not so much anymore, but I still love to listen to the style.

OK Andy,
You asked for it and you gonna get it. Since Photopoint croaked, taking my pix with it, I don't trust most sites. So, I am sending you a jpeg of Sarah playing John's Flammang, me hacking at my McGill and wearing my alt.music.hawaiian HUI LUPO T-shirt, and *YOU*, playing your McCollum. Food doesn't count on the web, only on the table in front of me, so you must be seen with a guitar.

I should have mentioned that the good looking fellow seated next to me in my profile pic is my best friend Bud who actually belongs to my real best friend Diana.I call him my loaner dog. Bud loves slack key music and normally lays down and goes to sleep when I (or anyone else) play. I guess this proves that nahenahe has the power to soothe even the gentle beast.
Sulle BTW Bud loves food as much as Andy does but I did not "pay" him to listen.

Aloha from a new member.
I was motivated to learn slack key after meeting Doug and Sandy McMaster, on Kauai, about a year and a half ago. Doug showed me a few things and I was off and picking. We have returned to Kauai and visited with them 2 times since and was asked to perform at their weekly presentations - What an honor!
My wife and I will be attending the Aloha Camp in August. We are definitely jazzed about it.
