When I asked for their kokua, this trio of talented musicians graciously agreed to perform a small fundraising concert for Kaua`i Community Radio (KKCR) last Saturday. After playing outside at Kukui Grove Shopping Center for over an hour (with temps near 90, and _really_ high humidity), they came up to the north shore (to cool off on our lana`i for awhile). Then it was off to The Landing Pad at Princeville Airport for what was scheduled to be just a 60-90 minute gig.
The enthusiastic "crowd" (small venue; audience was approximately 80) gave the guys a welcome they said they'll _never_ forget. What was scheduled to be a 90-minute performance, lasted nearly 2-1/2 hours.
Did I feed 'em plenny after all that? You betcha!!!
So if they're coming to a town near you on their upcoming tour, get your tickets NOW, and prepare for exemplary entertainment.
