LOL! I have to admit, it can be confusing on paper. You even made it look like you signed as Mark Hanson, Mr. Nelson! Here's a preview so those planning to attend don't get confused.

Pensive Mark Nelson

You can't fool me... at least not right this second. The workshop sounds like fun. Wish I could make it over there.

Hey Andy -

Yeah, yr right. I'm the one with hair... at least for the time being.

FYI. The funny looking instrument I'm holding is a Swedish hummel.

So Mark (the one with hair),

What level are the workshops? Will a 'I can sort of recognize a song when played in the privacy of my bedroom where even my wife can't hear me' level of player be totally intimidated?

Any other WA/OR T-patchers thinking of attending?

Eric

Oooh, where'd ya get that moving picture of the back of my head, Andy? It's twoo, it's twoo. Oh, and Dusty -- can ya do one that makes me look skinny?

And now for something completely serious: we are doing two workshops back to back -- the first would be the easier stuff; then we do the harder stuff. Folks get a price break for sticking around for both.

If you can feel your way around a song, come to the first one. It'll be more of an intro session -- though you folks who've taken my workshops in the past know I try to trck advanced players into learning something, too.

I'm still writing my lessons, so don't know yet what the heck I'll be doing. Expect some chords, arranging ideas, and the like in the afternoon session. Either Drop C or F tuning -- still thinking about that.

Mark, with the hair... for now.
